 MotoCare ("we", "our", "the app") is an offline vehicle maintenance management application developed for personal use. This privacy policy explains how the app handles user data.


1. Data Collection

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. The MotoCare app operates entirely offline. All data you enter into the app (vehicle details, maintenance records, fuel entries, expenses, reminders, and documents) is stored locally on your device only.


2. Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using Hive, a lightweight and fast key-value database for Flutter. No data is sent to any cloud server, database, or third-party service.


3. Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, rent, or distribute any of your data to any third party. Since the app works entirely offline, there is no data transmission whatsoever.


4. Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions:

- Notifications: To send you local reminders for vehicle maintenance, oil changes, insurance renewals, and other scheduled events. These notifications are generated and displayed entirely on your device.

- Storage: To save vehicle images, documents, and backup files on your device.

- Internet: Only used for optional features such as sharing the app or opening external links (e.g., privacy policy, Play Store rating page). No personal data is transmitted.


5. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.


6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage users to review this policy periodically.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by going to Settings > Clear All Data within the app. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. You can also uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data.
